Frequently Asked Questions

What is Coins of Service?

Coins of Service is a veteran-owned small business dedicated to honoring military service through uniquely shaped challenge coins, commemorative items, and legacy keepsakes. Our best-selling items include ship-shaped coins that honor U.S. Navy vessels and special campaign coins for veterans of OIF, OEF, and more.

What makes your coins different from standard challenge coins?

Our coins aren’t just round. We design and produce ship-shaped coins that mirror the actual profiles of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and submarines and others that perfectly resemble different campaigns over the years. Each coin features custom detailing like hull numbers, ship mottos, and service emblems to bring history to life.

Do you take custom orders or bulk requests?

At this time, we do not offer fully custom coins to individuals but we are working to be able to accomplish this soon. However, we do consider bulk or wholesale orders for units, organizations, reunions, or retailers. Please contact us for a quote and timeline.

Where can I buy your coins?

You can shop directly here from our website at www.coinsofservice.com or find select coins on Amazon, eBay, and Etsy.

How long does shipping take?

Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. We use USPS with tracking for most shipments. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and time of year.

How can I suggest a ship or design for a future coin?

We welcome suggestions! Many of our designs have come directly from our customer base. Please contact us using our Contact Page.

Who runs Coins of Service?

Coins of Service is operated by a military family deeply connected to the U.S. Navy and proud to support those who served. Learn more about our story on the About Us page.

What if my coin arrives damaged or defective?

We take quality seriously. If your coin arrives damaged, please email photos of the damage within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll issue a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
